Right from his academic arena, he has been leading from the front. After securing first rank in the Gujarat University in B.Com examination in 1974, he then went on to receive his Masters in Business Administration, from the University of Dallas, USA.
His success as a noted businessman has not diluted his enthusiasm for the public service mission. A dynamic personality, his contribution in the fields of education, social development, co operative movements and as a political activist is also noteworthy.
In 2005, the special commemoration to mark the 75th anniversary of the “Dandi Yatra of Mahatma Gandhi”, a thoughtful initiative by the congress party president Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, was coordinated at the functional levels by Shri Siddharth Patel. Integrating the logistics and the spirit of the original Yatra, Shri Siddharth patel ensured that this special Yatra goes on to become a great success.
